Nocturnal has launched a service which assists companies get games rated for release in the Australian or NZ markets:

How it works:
1/ Submit a game to us.
2/ Our registered Authorised Assessor will assess the game, and provide an official report detailing the recommended rating of the title.
3/ Submit the game to the classification board, along with the assessors report.
What are the benefits?
The primary benefit it cost. There are 3 primary ways of having a game classified (see the classification board website for all the details):
1/ Submit the game without a report to the classification board. The cost is approximately $1200 AU.
2/ Undertake the official Authorised Assessor course. The course costs around $800. Assess the game yourself, then submit to the classification board. Total cost is approximately $1200AU.
3/ Use the Nocturnal AA service. The cost for an assessment starts at $200AU. Submit the game to the classification board, and the total cost is approximately $600 (saving 50%).
